Newforma World 2023 Wrap Up!

Newforma World 2023 concluded last week in sunny Chandler, Arizona, and it was an absolute blast! Running between October 1^st to the 4^th, Newforma World 2023 served as a much-anticipated reunion for clients, colleagues, and friends of Newforma and our suite of products, especially since the last Newforma World was in 2019.

This year’s theme paid homage to classic americana: Route 66. The theme showcased how the vast network of roads and highways that crisscrossed America were once disjointed and lacking a unified path to link East and West, but that with Route 66 became a symbol of dreams, innovation, adventures, and interconnectedness, which is what Newforma is all about.

We’re proud to highlight the engaging speaker sessions, including Dr. Giovanna Brasfield, who highlighted the importance and profitability of diversity within the AECO industry. David Sears also made a lasting impression with his insights into teamwork and collaborative efforts, which really resonated with the audience.

The workshops were also abuzz with activity, where attendees not only delved deep into various AECO project information management and collaborative topics, but also had an absolute blast doing so!

We made sure to keep things lighthearted with a live band. And who could forget Sophia, the Hydration Donkey: our own charming celebrity donkey, who passed out drinks when anyone got thirsty.

But at Newforma World 2023, we also never lost sight of the reason everyone came: to create new industry connections, nurture existing ones, and help everyone exchange tips and tricks for making the most of Newforma’s products – from Newforma Project Center, Newforma ConstructEx, or the newest platform Newforma Konekt. It’s easy to have these conversations when sipping coffee over breaks, having lunchtime meetups, or group activities, since there’s always ample time for conversations, story-sharing, and networking.

As Newforma World 2023 came to a close, we hope it left all attendees with new insights, and a sense of anticipation for the next year’s Newforma World. And from the buzz we heard throughout the convention floor, it suggests that people are really looking forward to it.
