May 7, 2026 – At Newforma World 2026, Carl Veillette, Chief Product Officer at Newforma, unveiled the company’s product vision and roadmap, introducing the next wave of innovation designed to power the future of AEC projects through intelligent automation, connected data, and flexible modernization.
Opening the session, Veillette recognized the contributions of his team over the past year, whose work has shaped a roadmap focused on delivering more connected, scalable, and insight-driven project experiences.
Veillette outlined Newforma’s vision for an industry built on secure, well-governed data, where information is trusted, collaboration is seamless, and innovation can move quickly without sacrificing control.
At the core of this vision is Newforma’s “cloud-first, not cloud-forced” strategy. Rather than mandating a single path to modernization, Newforma enables customers to move at their own pace. The company’s on-premise platform, Newforma Project Center, remains a strategic component of this approach, supporting long-term and repeatable projects while enabling seamless hybrid transitions.
“Customers choose when and how they modernize. We decided not to be cloud-only, and it’s by design,” said Veillette.
Security remains foundational, informing product development. Newforma reaffirmed its commitment to balancing cloud innovation with the realities of data sovereignty, compliance, and risk management.
“Day 1 was about where the industry is going,” Veillette added. “Day 2 is about how that future gets built.”
Newforma’s roadmap is built on three core priorities: embedding intelligence, reducing friction, and enabling migration readiness.
“Everything we build must either lower risk, save time, or unlock scale,” said Veillette.

Newforma’s latest innovations focus on embedding intelligence directly into everyday workflows, starting with one of the industry’s most persistent challenges: email management.
With only 44% of project-related emails properly filed, despite 75% of legal evidence being email-based, Newforma introduced its Smart Email Filing system. Powered by AI, it automatically associates emails with projects and recommends filing locations for RFIs, submittals, and action items, helping teams create a more complete and defensible project record.
Building on this foundation, Newforma introduced Vojo, its new AI assistant. Built on an agent-driven framework, Vojo enables AI agents to actively perform tasks on behalf of users.
Beyond smart Email filing, Veillette added that Vojo’s capabilities will also include:
These capabilities are powered by Newforma’s strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), providing the scalable and secure infrastructure required to support advanced AI innovation.
“AI is only as powerful as the data it’s built on. We’re seeing growing demand for AI solutions grounded in trusted, well-governed data, particularly in complex, regulated industries. Newforma’s approach combines secure, scalable AWS infrastructure with an agent-driven AI framework to help AEC teams surface insights, reduce manual effort, and make more confident decisions. Just as importantly, their commitment to supporting both cloud and hybrid environments reflects how organisations are modernising today, balancing innovation with control, compliance, and flexibility.”

To accelerate time-to-value, Newforma announced a simplified, user-based licensing model. This modular structure allows organizations to purchase only what they need, with dedicated tracks such as InfoTrack, BIM Track, and CA Track.
Additional enhancements include:
Together, these updates reduce operational complexity and streamline adoption across teams.

Newforma continues to invest in an open, connected ecosystem, supporting customers as they modernise their workflows without disruption.
A new integration with Bluebeam Studio, announced on stage, will connect Bluebeam with Newforma Konekt, further strengthening project collaboration. The longstanding Project Center integration will continue to be supported.
Newforma also announced a new partnership with Egnyte, reinforcing its commitment to a software-agnostic approach.
Through this partnership, Newforma acts as an intelligent layer across existing storage environments, enabling direct connectivity with platforms such as Microsoft SharePoint, Autodesk Docs, and a myriad of third-party systems. This allows teams to unify project information, streamline workflows, and gain visibility across fragmented data without changing where that data lives.
This reflects Newforma’s long-standing philosophy of connecting the industry rather than replacing existing tools, giving organizations the flexibility to modernize on their own terms.
Additional advancements include:
Newforma also announced a new FedRAMP Moderate deployment, reinforcing its commitment to security and compliance, alongside ongoing work towards meeting advanced requirements.
Closing the session, Veillette reinforced Newforma’s mission:
“We’re building a world where project information is more connected, where the tools you rely on work better together, and where your teams can move faster because they see more, sooner, with less friction.”
