It’s always nice to end the year on a positive note so as we look ahead to 2017 I am pleased to share that Newforma has been listed on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 growth companies for the third year in a row. We are especially proud of this achievement because Newforma is the only New Hampshire-based company listed among the 2016 Technology Fast 500 winners – signifying a win for both New England and the Granite State. For more details, you can also read our latest press release publicizing the announcement.
The 2016 Technology Fast 500 recognizes the fastest growing technology companies from across North America, primarily in the areas of software, digital media and biotechnology. Credit for our ranking on the list for three consecutive years must be shared with our all of our valued customers. Their input and collaboration with our team has focused our innovation on addressing the changing business needs of the AECO industry.
Speaking of innovation – the Technology Fast 500 ranking comes on the heels of some notable activity for Newforma, including strategic announcements related to our core offering, Newforma Project Center. With the recent introduction of Newforma Cloud Services, we are creating the industry’s first truly hybrid platform that empowers project teams to manage project information both on their own network and to collaborate via the cloud using intuitive new mobile applications for successful project delivery.
Also, the release of the Newforma Cloud Services Connector Initiative solidifies our open platform approach. These connectors will offer our customers access to and interaction with information across a range of some of the most popular applications used by individual members of a project team, including software by PlanGrid, Dropbox, Box and others.
This is a very exciting time for Newforma and the industry, with more announcements to come in the near future. In addition to thanking all of our customers, I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all of Newforma’s employees. Without all their hard work, Newforma would not have been be able to grow year after year, and none of these recent developments would be possible.
Ian Howell is Newforma’s chief executive officer.
