About the presenters
Aaron Kivett has been working with information technology for more than 15 years in a variety of capacities. At BNIM he
has led several large software implementation projects, including Autodesk
Revit in 2001 and Deltek Vision in 2005. Aaron is focused on integrating the tools and practices involved in the
design process. Since joining BNIM in 2000, he has managed the information service infrastructure for the company's staff
of 100 people in offices across the country.
Art Haug, AIA, has more than 32 years of experience in project management and design, technical issues and construction
administration, including acting as an owner's representative. He has played an integral role in the development of LMN
Architects construction administration guidelines, and mentors LMN staff with regard to construction administration
methodology and construction document development.
Tim Rice, AIA, has 28 years of experience as an architect, the last 20 of which have been spent managing CAD and IT
systems. He has provided firm-wide leadership for LMN's BIM initiative and is responsible for implementation and
integration of new technologies into all aspects of project delivery.
Thomas H. Peterson has been instrumental in guiding St. Louis-based Mackey Mitchell Architects through rapid changes in
cutting-edge technology. Peterson, a practicing architect for 17 years, became a principal in 2006. In his multiple
roles as architect, principal and the firm's director of technology, Peterson balances the firm's application of
innovative technologies with a close understanding of how those technologies impact the Mackey Mitchell team. Peterson
continuously investigates and integrates the most efficient and cost-effective methodologies to improve the architectural
process, including on-line meeting technology to replace travel and new software programs to streamline design and
project management.
