Connect sheet planning with models
The Newforma® Add-in for Autodesk® Revit® allows you to connect sheet planning worksheets with Revit models, making it easier to manage the revision and distribution of record document deliverables derived from the model.
Manage sheets
- Synchronizing Revit sheets ensures that sheet numbers, titles and other details remain coordinated with Newforma Document Control records as the model evolves over time.
- Upon synchronization, Revit sheets are listed in Newforma Project Center's Document Control activity center, where they can be managed – even directly edited – in a spreadsheet.
Manage markups
- Newforma users may mark up a view of the drawing using Newforma snapshot and markup tools.
- Markups can be sent to another team member or related to an action item associated with the underlying record document and Revit sheet.
Track revisions
- Once drawings have been reviewed in Newforma Document Control, they can be issued to the project team using the standard Newforma transmittal and Info Exchange capabilities, which record the issuance.
- As new drawing revisions are published from Revit, they can be added as revisions and issued in the same way, providing an audit trail of which team member got which version of which deliverable from the Revit model, and when.
These are just some of the project information management capabilities made possible by the integration of PIM and BIM software.

Building Information Management
The Newforma Add-in for Autodesk Revit enables you to deal with the flood of deliverables generated out of the model and to more effectively manage and coordinate the information that would otherwise be locked up in the model. The result is enhanced efficiency in project delivery, reduced risk and increased client satisfaction.
