Connect space planning spreadsheets with Revit models
Not all members of your space planning team will be Revit users. Newforma provides a way for project managers and others to update critical design information in the model without using the design application.
The Newforma® Add-in for Autodesk® Revit® connects space program data with the model to ensure that client requirements and design documentation are synchronized throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Connecting room and space planning spreadsheets with live Revit models enables programming and Revit modeling staff to work asynchronously on a coordinated project room and space program.
- Synchronize Revit model data with Newforma Project Center or Microsoft Excel.
- Edit and manage linked model data using Newforma activity centers or Excel spreadsheets.
- Synchronize edited data back to the Revit model.
The Newforma Spatial Index activity center integrates with other project information management processes. For example, in the Punch List activity center in Newforma Contract Management, punch list items can be related to room numbers to provide critical locational context.
