announced today that HOK, a global architectural design and services firm, has chosen to implement Newforma Project Center as a component of HOK buildingSMART, a corporate-wide execution of the International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI) buildingSMART™initiative. HOK buildingSMART is focused on revolutionizing the efficiency and effectiveness of project design and execution through application of knowledge management, best practices and advanced technology throughout the building project lifecycle.

Project managers and project team members at HOK will be using Newforma Project Center to organize and find project information more efficiently, to share and communicate project documents more quickly and easily, and to reuse and enhance project data in ways that streamline critical work processes. Newforma Project Center will integrate with HOK’s existing Deltek Vision® financial management system for a seamless interchange of business and project information and will also establish links to the HOK KnowledgeNet enterprise-wide portal.
