Dear customers, partners and friends of Newforma:

We're working hard to keep up with the growing demand for Newforma Project Center while at the same time planning to make maximum use of the few short months of our New England summer to fit in activities with friends and family. In this edition of The Newformant we feature two items especially for civil engineers, an update on our recent marketing events and share a few pictures of the summer vacation plans of some or our Newforma team members.

New webinar focuses on PIM, IPD and civil engineering

For our next webinar on ways project information management supports integrated project delivery, we’ll focus on PIM’s relevance to processes followed by civil engineering firms. Join Newforma's Bob Batcheler and Jordan, Jones & Goulding Senior Project Manager Ed Culican to review instances where better project information management improves client service, streamlines operations and mitigates risks. Attend Getting the lay of the land: civil engineering and PIM, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time, Friday, June 26. There’s no charge. Click to register.

Newforma and Axomic announce partnership

United Kingdom-based Axomic developed OpenAsset image management software so architects, engineers and constructors could manage libraries of images and other digital assets. The two companies entered into a partnership agreement this spring to develop their mutual interest in project information management. To see how OpenAsset integrates with Newforma Project Center, view the recording of our May webinar, Every picture tells a story: managing digital images.

Conferences prepare attendees for future growth

Newforma engaged the industry in three major conferences this spring: the convention of the American Institute of Architects, which summoned more than 20,000 to its halls; Deltek Insight, which brought together 3,000 business leaders and partner attendees; and the AEC Technology Strategies Conference, a focused gathering of 100 information technology leaders in the architecture, engineering and construction industry.
