Generating attention, attending to generators

Dear customers, partners and friends of Newforma:

The rumble of electric generators is filling the air as this issue of the Newformant newsletter goes out. An ice storm may have toppled our power lines, but nothing seems to interrupt the increasing flow of attention to Newforma Project Center software for project information management (PIM). The articles linked below show how that awareness is taking shape at leading firms and industry publications. For pictures of the storm’s aftermath, follow the link at bottom.

Weather in New England: chill out!

Newforma customers have told us about their recent weather-related disasters, such as fires in California and Hurricane Ike in Texas. Now it’s New England’s turn to have trees trimmed and people displaced. The cause is an ice storm that poured across the region last week. New Hampshire offices have electrical power, but it’s a different story in many people’s homes. Vermont Yankee nuclear plant reduced power to 82 percent of normal because so many homes and businesses were knocked off the grid. For a sampling of images, click here.
